Valmont Cosmetics to use Thinfilm’s SpeedTap tags and cloud-based software platform

Swiss cosmetics brand Valmont Cosmetics is using Thinfilm’s NFC solutions to transform beauty products into consumer beauty experiences.

A partnership and related market trial has been formed by Thin Film Electronics with CMSmartconnect and Valmont Cosmetics.

This NFC enabled packaging is claimed to deliver customers of Valmont with specific beauty advice through the simple tap of a smartphone.

The Swiss cosmetics company claims to be offering anti-aging products which cater to the customers worldwide. With this method, Valmont opines that the interaction can be a two-way dialogue and can strengthen its customer relationships.

Valmont’s line of anti-aging products will now feature a ‘tap here to discover more’ call to action. With a simple smartphone tap, consumes can be instantly directed to a customised web page of Velmont, where one can read more about the brand and learn more the ingredients, receive instructions for applications, preview complimentary products and to buy products online.

Each of the SpeedTap tags have a unique ID, which can fully integrate with Thin Film’s CNECT cloud-based software platform, which can let the brand to manage marketing campaigns, monitor real-time tapping activity and to generate detailed analytics and reporting.
